THE BAT TEAM HAS FILLED TO CAPACITY FOR 2010. REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
For many triathletes, swimming is an activity that creates anxiety and frustration. The thought of swimming in a murky lake is downright scary for some and prevents many from ever pursuing their dream of participation in a triathlon. If you are someone that feels confident cycling and running and already have an understanding of triathlon logistics, but needs direction with your swimming, this package will be perfect for you. The key focus of the program will be to educate participants to feel more comfortable in the water and become more efficient and competitive swimmers. This will be accomplished through freestyle specific drill progressions with personal attention and feedback from Coach Justin (view Coach Justin Bio>). Our six-workshop series will culminate at Governor Nelson State Park where we will take our new swimming skills and confidence to a controlled (and chest deep) lake swim.
