Tuesday Night Group Runs

When: Every Tuesday

Tuesday Night Run 
Tired of running that same loop in your neighborhood over and over by

yourself?  Whether you are a beginner runner or an elite marathoner,

15 minute miler or 5, running is always more fun in a group. Endurance House Tuesday Night Runs offers a great opportunity to meet other runners like yourself and have fun while getting a good work out.


We use Gmaps pedometer to map out all the runs, simply click on the link to find out where we are running this week!  Below is our running schedule.





ROUTES



 

The Tuesday Night Group Runs will be running following the Haunted Hustle ½ Marathon plan leading up to the Haunted Hustle Marathon, ½ Marathon and 10K race this Oct. 30th.  All runners are welcomea and encouraged to come to these runs even if you’re not competing in any races.  The training plan provides a great guideline for our runs and helps those with a fall goal to stay on track.  


We will also be running SATURDAY MORNING RUNS starting Aug. 7th.  The runs are below with an option for the Marathon and ½ Marathon training plans.  They will run until the race on Oct. 30th and start at 7:30 a.m. from Endurance House. The first week’s course is mapped out; however after that you can know the distance, but the route will be explained when you come.  Thank you all for checking us out and we look forward to seeing you out there running!


TNR Group Runs

Aug, Sept, Oct. 

Smooth Run: These runs will be kept at our average group conversation 10 min/mile pace

Tempo Run: These runs will start at 10 min/mile pace and increase according to the group running that night and end again with 10 min/mile pace.  This is supposed to be fun and encouraging. Come out and try this if you haven’t before!

Runners will be able to store car keys in the store and water bottles
in our cooler. Running routes are subject to change without notice.

 


FAQ


How fast do you go?

We run on average a 10 min. mile pace.  This is a good conversation pace while still getting a good workout in.  Some runs are planned to be a little faster and they will say so on the in the description.  Don’t be discouraged by this though, we take walking breaks when needed and want to make this a good experience for everyone!


How much does it cost to join the group?

TNR is completely FREE!  We simply want to provide a place for runners to connect and encourage each other to get out and run!


Do I have to come 10 consecutive weeks for the punch card?

No, We understand that lives are busy and simply want to offer some incentive to get out running.  Come when you can, of course we’d like to see you every week.


What if there’s bad weather?

Check the facebook group for updates  and cancellations due to bad weather.  Don’t have facebook?  Give Endurance House a call 608-836-9084. To see if we are still running. (We have not had to cancel a group run yet!)


What if I can’t keep up?

We will never leave a runner behind!  We want this to be an enjoyable experience for everyone.
